Faron Rance Driver Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Faron Driver, age 69 of Marion, died at 3:30 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab in Marion. He was of the Baptist Faith. Faron enjoyed playing music with family and friends, anytime day or night. He was a great guitar player and singer. Faron was a faithful fan of UK Wildcats, seldom missing a game. He loved fishing, camping and horseback riding. He had probably seen every John Wayne movie there is. He was the kind of man that would give you the shirt from his back if he thought you needed or wanted it. He had a heart as big as Texas. Faron loved his family and his Lord above all. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Faron was preceded in death by his parents Allie Ray and Nellie Gladys Knight Driver, two brothers Ralph Driver, Garth Driver, five sisters Verna Ray Driver, Thelma Lee Sexton, Glyna Sanders, Geraldine (Dean) Neighbors, and Gloria Fern Blackmon. Survivors include his significant other and love of his life Caroletta Vinson May, five sons Randall, Nicholas, Jeremy, Capen and Samuel Driver, two daughters Loraine and Amber. One brother Kamen Driver of Murray, KY and five sisters Viva Tinsley of Hopkinsville, KY, Brenda Kay Roberts of Franklin, KY, Vivian Starr Lewellyn of Murray, KY, Rebecca (Becky) Conger and Detra Campbell of Marion, KY. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with Bro. James Driver officiating and burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery in Lyon County. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville.
